Master the strategic pin placement game where colours count
Pinpoint is a strategic board game played on a 10x10 grid where 2-4 players compete to score the most points by forming patterns with colored pins. The game combines tactical placement, pattern recognition, and strategic blocking to create an engaging multiplayer experience.
Points are scored by forming patterns with pins of the same color. Patterns can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
| Pattern | Points | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Pin | 1 point | Single pin placement |
| 2 Pins in a row | 2 points | Two adjacent pins of the same color |
| 3 Pins in a row | 3 points | Three consecutive pins |
| 4 Pins in a row | 4 points | Four consecutive pins |
| 5 Pins in a row | 5 points | Five consecutive pins |
| 6+ Pins in a row | 10 points + Reversal! | Six or more pins trigger color reversal |

Joker pins are wild cards that can represent any color. When you play a Joker, you choose which color it becomes. Once placed, the Joker turns black and permanently counts as that chosen color for all scoring purposes. Use Jokers strategically to complete high-scoring patterns or block opponents.
This is the game-changing mechanic!
When you form a line of 6 or more pins of the same color, those pins reverse to their opposite color:
This reversal can dramatically change the board state, disrupting opponent patterns while potentially creating new scoring opportunities for you. Master the reversal mechanic to dominate the game!
